1. SLIQ Silica Spray: paint protectionThe spray on paint sealant. A couple of sprays on the panel or the towel after every wash adds slickness and UV protection, streak free, and it works as a drying aid on a wet car. SLIQ on its own.

The order we use the kit in

Seven bottles is only useful if you know what comes first. This is the sequence for a full wash and detail with the Complete Detail Kit, start to finish.

1. Tires and trim with TRX. Spray TRX on the tires and any textured black trim, scrub the tires with a brush, and rinse. Doing this first means the runoff never lands on clean paint.

2. Wash with Foam Wash. Foam cannon or two buckets, top down. Let the thick suds sit for a minute to lift the grit, wash the upper panels first and the lower panels last, and rinse from the roof down.

3. Dry with SLIQ. While the car is still wet, a couple of sprays of SLIQ on the panel or the drying towel makes the towel glide and leaves slickness and UV protection behind as you dry. This is the step most people skip, and it is the one that makes the car look protected instead of just clean.

4. Glass with Glass Cleaner. One or two sprays on the outside of each window, wipe, flip the towel, buff. Then the inside. It is fine in direct sun, so the order of panels does not matter.

5. Dress with Ultra Dress. Tires and exterior trim are dry by now. Apply Ultra Dress for a clean, natural finish. Wipe off any excess so the tires do not sling it onto the paint on the first drive.

6. Interior with Revive. Dash, door panels, console, and interior trim. Revive cleans and conditions in one pass and leaves a natural finish with UV protection.

7. Between washes with Eco One. Dust, pollen, a light rain film. Spray a panel, wipe with a plush towel, flip and buff. Silica infused, so it adds protection while it cleans. This is the bottle that keeps the car looking washed on the weeks you do not wash it.

Two washes in one box

The kit ships with two wash products on purpose. Foam Wash is the hose wash, the full two bucket or foam cannon job when the car is properly dirty. Eco One is the waterless wash for everything in between: apartment parking lots, a car show morning, the week it rained once and the car is dusty rather than filthy. Most of our customers do one Foam Wash a week and one or two Eco One wipe downs in between, and the car never looks neglected.

What the kit does not replace

The Complete Detail Kit maintains a car. It does not decontaminate or coat one. Brake dust and iron fallout come off with Fuego. Paint that needs a real ceramic coating gets Cleanse for the strip wash and then UNO or STAK. Fabric seats and carpet are a job for Complete. Once that work is done, the kit is what keeps it looking done.

Does the kit include a ceramic coating?

No. SLIQ adds slickness and UV protection after every wash, which is the maintenance layer. For a long term coating, look at UNO or STAK and use the kit to maintain it afterward.

Can Eco One really wash a car without water?

Yes. It is a silica infused waterless wash formulated for quick, scratchless washes without a hose, for light to moderate dirt. A car caked in mud still wants Foam Wash and a hose.

Is Ultra Dress safe on trim as well as tires?

Yes. It is a water based dressing for tires and exterior trim, and it restores faded trim with a clean, natural finish.
